July 14, 2002 THE BEST DAMN TOURNAMENT I'VE EVER PLAYED: Officials of a private golf tournament set up tents along the Hidden Valley Golf Club in Norco, Calif., which contained women who, for a small fee, performed sex acts on the golfers. Police involvement resulted. SOME THINGS ARE JUST PERSONAL: Authorities have come up with a
motive as to why they believe a man killed a female security guard at a
mall food court in Denver. She saw him in a back room wearing women's
panties, pantyhose, a burgundy camisole and a slip. SHE'S GOING FOR A DIFFERENT LOOK: A 17-year-old lesbian wanted
to pose for her high school yearbook picture wearing a jacket and tie
like the boys instead of the scoop-necked drape required of all girl
students. She was refused. THIS LOAD SHOULD BRING TOP DOLLAR: A produce truck exiting a
freeway in Ontario, Calif., overturned and lost its entire load of
cucumber boxes which police later discovered were filled with about
5,000 pounds of marijuana. THE INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF NAKED LADIES: Nude models in
Philadelphia want more money for posing for artists - $15 an hour would
be nice, they say. They also want privacy screens, a special place to
change and a place to hang their clothes.
