March 23, 2003 WHAT WAS I THINKING? A man stole a car in Trondheim, Norway,
but apparently felt guilty about it and decided to return it. First, he
filled the vehicle up with gas to be a good citizen, but he drove off
without paying for it. Police were alerted and followed him. DEATH COMES BUT ONCE ... OR DOES IT? A 68-year-old man with
cancer was mistakenly pronounced dead and sent to a mortuary in
Bordeaux, France, where he was put in cold storage. NOW THAT'S A BARGAIN: A man bought a used suitcase for a dollar at an auction in Calgary, Alberta, and discovered that it contained 11 pounds of cocaine valued at $180,000. He turned it over to the police. SIR, I'LL HAVE TO ASK YOU TO SIT DOWN: A naked man tried to force his way into the cockpit of a Paris-to-Oslo Air France flight forcing an emergency landing in Belgium. The man was removed from the plane. DEATH AND PRISON COULDN'T STOP THEM: A woman - who had faked
her own death to avoid jail - was arrested in Lisbon, Portugal,
delivering 70 pounds of cocaine to Spanish drug dealers.
