WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO BRITISH RESERVE: English tourists traveling to Greece have been engaging in debauchery of such magnitude that police in Blackpool, England have offered to help their counterparts in Faliraki on the Island of Rhodes with advice about to handle the situation.
The offer came after a British television aired a report about "ugly Britons" featuring a clip of a beach party on Corfu showing three couples - some of them British tour guides - performing oral sex as dozens of bystanders cheered them on.

I'M DEAD ... I MEAN, HE'S DEAD: A Minnesota man who was supposed to appear in court to face charges of assault, obstructing the legal process with force and driving with a canceled license was arrested a month after a newspaper said that he was dead.
Police didn't know if the man was the one who sent the phony obituary to the the Saint Paul Pioneer Press, but he did fake a heart attack when officers first arrested him two months ago.
After the first arrest and before the man was to appear for his court date,  the judge also received a fax from someone claiming to be the man's attorney saying he had "recently passed on."

DON'T HATE ME BECAUSE I'M BEAUTIFUL: The federal government has sued a 43-year-old woman for collecting $190,000 in disability payments while competing in beauty pageants.
She claimed to have been disabled in a 1995 auto accident than won the title of Mrs. Minnesota International in 1999 and Mrs. Iowa International in 2001. She says it'a all a misunderstanding.

NOW TAKE DOWN YOUR LEGAL BRIEFS: Guards at a New York prison report that a female attorney was spotted in the facility's conference room "holding hands and interacting intimately" with her mobster client. The guards also confiscated "steamy love letters" that she had written to him. She has been banned from the prison.
The New York Post wrote the story under the headline "La Cozy Nostra."

HE WAS RIGHT ALL ALONG: A 100-year-old man in the United Arab Emirates prided himself in never having gone to a hospital.
He finally consented to go to one for a minor stomach operation. As soon as the surgery was completed, he died.
