AH, A NICE RELAXING DAY ... SWOOOSH! A 14-year-old girl was sunbathing on a rock in the Androscoggin River at the foot of a New Hampshire hydro power dam when workers decided to drain the dam for maintenance, not realizing she was there.
They opened the floodgates, sending a wall of water right at her, and forcing her to cling to the rock for dear life. They shut it off when a woman on the river bank yelled to them. The girl is OK.

HE NEEDS A DATE FOR THE SENIOR DANCE: Gene Noe wants to go to his high school class reunion, but is afraid he'll be the only one who shows up.
He graduated from Fond du Lac, Wis., High School in 1929 - 75 years ago. He is 93. He is hoping he isn't the only one still alive.

BACKLASH: An woman got in a furious argument with her 57-year-old boyfriend in their Milwaukee apartment, and tried to light him on fire.
She doused him with lighter fluid and sparked a cigarette lighter, but she had also doused herself. She caught on fire. He didn't. She died of her burns. Age 31.

JUST ANOTHER NIGHT AT THE DRIVE-THROUGH: Two men in line at the drive-through of McDonald's in Largo, Fla. at 2 a.m. felt the man in the car in front of him was taking too long at the window. So they got out of their car and went up to his and started punching him.
They pulled him out of his car and punched him some more. The guy pulled a knife and started cutting them. They tried to drive off in his car. The cops arrived and started arresting people.

IT'S A BIT SLIPPERY HERE: A truck was rear-ended on the Autobahn near Sittensen, Germany, causing its entire cargo to spill all over the highway: 9,000 gallons of pig's blood.
