capture for 42 years, attended a mob summit in 1992 disguised as a Catholic bishop, according to an informant.

SO THEY’LL BE A FEW LESS BOOKS, SO WHAT? 
The education minister of Malawi, an impoverished African nation, used
money meant for schools to pay for his lavish wedding reception at a luxury
hotel. The president has fired him.

IT WASN’T ME, I SWEAR! 
An Angolan schoolgirl living in London told a court that her mother and
aunt put her in a laundry bag and threatened to throw her out their
third-floor apartment window and into the river below. They thought she was a witch. They had become convinced she was putting curses on members of her family.

FOR CANADA, A DAY OF MOURNING, EH!? 
A truck overturned on Highway 401 in Toronto, spilling 2,000 cases of
beer and bringing great sadness to the Canadian people.

WE’RE PATRONS OF THE ARTS, OFFICER:
The nudity ordinance in Boise, Idaho, requires that strippers wear
pasties and a thong unless they are engaged in an activity with "serious
artistic merit.'' So the owner of a strip club called Erotic City designated "art nights,'' and distributed pencils and sketch pads to patrons who were free to draw the completely naked dancers. It didn't work.
Police raided the joint.
